Official Terms & Conditions - Ireland

Introduction

1. The Barefoot Wine BBQ Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Ireland aged 18 years or over. It is not open to employees of E. & J. Gallo Winery Europe, its Barefoot Wine brand, or employees or agents of any organisation involved in the running of the sweepstakes, and entrant must not be a family relation of any such person.

2. This sweepstakes is free to enter (no purchase required).

Eligibility and entry restrictions

3. To enter this sweepstakes, you must enter as directed on the Barefoot Wine BBQ Sweepstakes website by providing your name, email address and age (to verify legal drinking age). By entering, you agreed to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and permit Barefoot Wine to contact you with information or material related to this sweepstakes.

4. The competition will commence on 12:01am 1st August 2022 and close on the 11:59pm 31st of October 2022 (“Entry Period”). These times and dates are set to those for IST (Irish Summer Time).

5. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the sweepstakes will be invalid and will not be entered into the sweepstakes. Barefoot Wine is not responsible for entries delayed due to technical problems, nor any technical issues, system or software failures encountered during entry into the sweepstakes.

6. Barefoot Wine reserves the right to cancel or amend the sweepstakes and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the sweepstakes will be communicated to entrants as soon as possible.

Prizes

7. There will be one (1) prize draw within five (5) days of the close of the Entry Period with one (1) main prize awarded and fifty (50) runner-up prizes awarded.

8. The main prize winner will receive one (1) Weber® barbeque unit with an approximate retail value of €1.299,00 Barefoot Wine reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value in the case of unavailability of any or all of the items.

9. Fifty (50) runner-up prize winners will each receive one (1) prize package containing a barbeque glove, tongs, and an apron with an approximate retail value of €50,00. Barefoot Wine reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value in the case of unavailability of any or all of the items.

10. The prizes are redeemable by the winners only. There is no cash alternative offered to the prizes and prizes cannot be transferred, refunded, exchanged or amended.

11. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Barefoot Wine shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered or sustained by any entrants as a result of participation in the sweepstakes or use of the prize(s). Barefoot Wine will not be liable for failure or delay in delivery or performance of obligations under these terms in the event of any unforeseen cause beyond its control.

Winner Selection

12. Entrants will be randomly selected from all valid entries by computer software within five (5) working days following the close of the sweepstakes and notified by email. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s), but if a winner fails to respond to the notification message within ten (10) working days, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or is subject to any entry restrictions, he or she will forfeit the prize and a re-draw will be made from the remaining eligible entries to select a new winner.

13. Winners will be required to provide an address for delivery of the prize and provide confirmation of legal drinking age; the main prize will be delivered directly from Weber® via freight carrier. All other prizes will be sent via parcel service (i.e., DHL, UPS, etc.). All prizes will be dispatched for delivery to winners within thirty (30) days of receipt of shipping addresses.

14. Barefoot Wine reserves the right to use and feature the name of the winners for any marketing communications on its website for a period of one year, without any compensation to the winners.

15. All personal details collected as part of the sweepstakes will be used in conjunction with Barefoot Wine’s Privacy Policy, posted at www.barefootwine.ie.

16. You are providing your information to Barefoot Wine for the purposes of this sweepstakes. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the sweepstakes must be directed to E. & J. 18. The sweepstakes and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase chances of winning. Only one entry per person.

PRIZE: One (1) main prize winner will receive one (1) Weber barbeque unit with an approximate retail value of €950. HOW TO ENTER: Visit the promotional website at www.barefootwine.ie and provide name, email, and age to confirm legal drinking age (18 years of age or older).

Contest is open to legal residents of Ireland only. Employees of E. & J. Gallo Winery (“Gallo”), or families, agents or any other third parties professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible. The coordination of the draw will be organized by Gallo or its agent. Gallo will not be held responsible for incomplete, delayed, or misdirected entries. Winners agree that neither Gallo nor any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, or employees will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use of prizes. Winners will be contacted by email and required to claim their prize within ten (10) working days after receiving the notification email, confirm eligibility, and provide an address for delivery.
